A Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organization developed to support the government in serving key community groups (the vulnerable, underprivileged, and underserved) in Botswana’s society.
‘Embrace & Serve’ Community Care Trust (‘E&S’CCT) was founded in 2021 and registered as a non-profit Non-Governmental Organization on the 4th June 2021 with the Master of the High Court in Francistown, Botswana. The Organization was registered to serve key groups (elderly and infirm, orphans and vulnerable children, people with disabilities, out-of-school unemployed youth, disadvantaged low-income households, andd minority ethnic groups) in the Central District of Botswana (and eventually beyond), with its base in Radisele/Mogome Villages. The Trust is a private Civil Society Organization aimed at rural community development and improvement of livelihoods through societal engagement in environmentally friendly projects related to sanitation, food production, shelter provision, and health-promotion. Being a private entity, the organization is currently governed by a Board of Trustees including Dr. Ditshupo Selepeng (Founder & Board Chairperson) Ms. Daisy Karabo Selepeng (co-Founder & Secretary).
Beneficiaries/Clients
The elderly and infirm, orphans and vulnerable children, out of school and unemployed youth, people with disabilities, disadvantaged men and women, minority or marginalized communities, etc.
